Artist Jee Park joins the WAAM platform.

Jee Park is a Miami based artist whose practice deals with memory, loss and ritual. Her latest works are informed by the Suui- a traditional Korean hemp based burial garment, often used to initiate a rite of passage for the dearly departed. Elements such as sleeves or string are stitched together with bedsheets, various textiles, and other personal or familial garments of the artist’s daily life. Her recent solo exhibitions include Close to Home (2023) at Dimensions Variable and Everything that Remains (2021) at Spinello Projects. She is a recipient of the Miami-Dade Individual Artist (MIA) Grant (2024–2025) and an Ellies Award (2022).
